Love Musical : "The Producers" Funniest!!

I Looooove this musical because it is so stupid, but every art is wonderful. I really really really want to watch it on the stage. I cannot stop smiling when I watch this.

This musical is a comedy-musical . As in the film, the story concerns two theatrical producers who scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop. Complications arise when the show unexpectedly turns out to be successful. The humor of the show is accessible to a wide range of audiences, and draws on ridiculous accents, caricatures of homosexuals and Nazis, and many show business in-jokes. The musical was a hit in New York, spawning national tours and successful productions in London and internationally. The musical opened on April 19, 2001 and ran for 2,502 performances, winning a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards.

Everything looks ridiculous, but every components are marvelous. I put my favorite below.

Oh my gaaaaaaash!! The Hitler is so gay!!

Love Musical: "A Chorus Line" Love the dance and the choreography!!

I watched this musical played by senior students when I was in high school in japan. They did just dancing, not so good. I watched it because our school had a great dance tea who tried to be in the Broadwat show when he was young thaught dancing to them. It was disappointed, but I got interested in this musical. So, I rented the movie and watched. The Dance and the choreography were totally beyond my expectation!! This musical is the most fantastic musical&s musical.

The story is about seventeen Broadway dancers auditioning for spots on a chorus line. With nineteen main characters, it is set on the bare stage of a Broadway theatre during an audition for a musical. The show provides a glimpse into the personalities of the performers and the
choreographer as they describe the events that have shaped their lives and their decisions to become dancers. The original Broadway production, directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett, was an unprecedented box office and critical hit, receiving 12 Tony Award nominations and winning nine of them, in addition to the 1976 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It ran for 6,137 performances, becoming the longest-running production in Broadway history up to that time. It remains the longest running Broadway musical originally produced in the United States, and the fourth longest-running Broadway show ever. The show has enjoyed many successful productions worldwide and was revived on Broadway in 2006.

When I was in U.S. A. I played the song Onein the Marching show. We did the high kick like actors in the musical with playing instruments. I think in the revival version, there must be Japanese cast, and the movie is comming out. I am not sure but excited so much!!

One!! Everytime I watch this I wanna be a dancer!!

I am working at cafe in station building. We serve coffee with siphon. Our cafe's name is "Cafe Fan", it is located in Tachikawa China Town. Tachikawa China Town is just a name. It is actually in the 7th floor of Granduo (Station Building). The whole floor is filled with Chinese restaurant except our cafe. Sometimes, customers complain us why there is cafe specialized in cofee not chinese tea in the Chinese floor. Well, we don't know. We never understand what executives are thinking. I like my working place. All of people I am working with are so nice, kind and respectable. I won't quit this job until I graduated from

Love Musical: "Rent" Great Fellowship and love

I listened to the song The Seasons of love from RENT in somewhere choir concert. I asked my host sister about that song , in answer she gave me RENT DVD.

Rent is considered as a rock opera, it isbased on Puccini opera La Bohème. It tells the story of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of AIDS.

Eventhough the character in this musical, has almost no money, serious disease, complex background, they are trying to live brightly. Some of them are homosexual, but their love is true love. We can learn great fellowship and love.

Great Great song!!

Nice percussion and dance,Angel!!

This black guy is also inthe movie Chicago.La Vie Boheme!!

Take me baby, or leave me.

There is only us, No day but today....

Haruki Murakami

I like reading books. Unfortunately I heven't read lots of book since I entered the college. My favorite author is Haruki Murakami. After reading his book, I always felt like I came to another world, Haruki's world. I like both his long stories and short stories.

These are haruki's works I have. I f you read his book one time, you will not get interested in another author. His book is that powerful.

Love Musical: West Side Story

When i watched this musical movie, I didn't like it at first. Probably it is because of the camera angle. But know, I like it. I heve to admit that this is one of the greatest musical performance in the American history.

The music was composed by Leonard Bernstein !! He is the greatest conducter in U.S.A. He thaught conducting to Seiji Ozawa. The story settings is in Manhattan's West Side Hill Kitchen in the mid-1950s, the musical developes the rivalry between two teenage gangs of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. The young protagonist, Tony, who belongs to the White gang, falls in love with Maria, the sister of the leader of the rival Puerto Rican gang. The dark theme, sophisticated music, extended dance scenes, and focus on social problems marked a turning point in American musical theater. Bernstein's score for the musical is extremely popular; it includes "Something's Coming," "Maria," "America," "Somewhere," "Tonight" and so on.The original 1957 Broadway production ran for 732 performances (a successful run for the time), before going on tour.

My music history teacher taught me anecdote of "West Side Story". The very first day of its performance, after the show, there were sighlent, no applause. The director thought this musical is false. But soon after, the huge applause came up!! In that time, this muiscal was so shocking to audience, so they could't react soon after the show was over.

I put my favorite scene from the movie.

America!!

I think I watched same scenery in "Sweeny Tod". By the way, I hate that movie version. They don't know what musical is.
